| Sausage Casserole
Method:
Serves 4
- In a large heated frying pan brown the mushrooms. Remove from the pan
- Add the carrot & shallots and fry for a few mins until the onions are slightly browned and translucent
- Set aside the vegetables and brown your hodgins sausages
- Set aside and add the flour to the pan, gradually add the stock & cider and whisk until you have a slightly thickened sauce
- Add all the ingredients to a casserole including the apple and fresh herbs
- Place in the oven at 180C or allow to simmer on the hob for 25 minutes
Serve with some mash potatoes & maybe a green salad. Enjoy
